The Boneyard is now open

Dear Friends:
THE DOG PARK IS OPEN --- The repairs are done, and the park is now open from sunrise to sunset daily.
What a great time was had by all at the Boneyard this weekend. In two short days, we raised $1848 towards our support of the park, and we signed up 250 new supporters. We had great volunteers who welcomed people back to the park, and wonderful photos are on our Facebook page posted by a participant.
Thanks to our Board for their hard work, all the fantastic volunteers who assisted, the wonderful donors and supporters who participated, and just everyone who made the weekend so special.
Special thanks to the local merchants who donated to our Opportunity Drawing with gift certificates. Our generous business donors are: Gyenari Korean Restaurant, Bam Bam & Friends, Hair Traffic, Rush Street Bar & Grille, Doggie Central (who also provided those special goody bags and treats), Joxer Daly's, and Global Pet Food outlet (who supplied extra treats). Each of them responded with a resounding "yes" to our request for their participation.
We are working hard to get lights into the park, and every dollar counts, so take a moment to donate if you can by sending a check to the address below or going to our website at www.culvercitydogpark.org and clicking on the PayPal button.

One note of caution. A mountain lion has been spotted in the hills of Culver City Park by the Culver City Little League. Report any such sightings to the Culver City Police, and if you'd like a copy of the email from the Little League, please let us know.
