Boneyard Rules And Guidelines

The Boneyard is Open from
Sunrise until 10:00 PM Daily
We Have Lights!!



We know everyone wants to enjoy the Boneyard when it opens. Please take some time to look over the rules of the park and also the guidelines about entering and using the park so you'll know how to get the most out of your experience. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Boneyard Regulations

The Boneyard is here for the enjoyment of you and your dog(s). Each user and their dog(s) enter at their own risk. In the spirit of peace, tranquility, health and safety for all, please:
  • Ensure your dog is currently licensed, vaccinated and over the age of four (4) months; (You will need to provide proof of licensing upon request by any City official).

  • Bring no more than three (3) dogs into the Boneyard at any one time.

  • Use the appropriate area(s) of the Boneyard (Small or Timid or Large; dogs are considered large if they are over 25 pounds).

  • Pick up and properly dispose of your dogs feces both in and around the Boneyard.

  • Remain with your dog(s) at all times. You are solely responsible and liable for any and all injuries and/or damage caused by your dog.

  • Do not bring a dog with a known communicable disease.

  • Do not bring a dog that is in heat.

  • Do not bring an aggressive dog.

  • Your dog must be restrained by a substantial chain or leash not exceeding six (6) feet in length except while inside the fenced areas of the Boneyard.

  • Dogs must be off-leash while inside the Boneyard. Please remove any pronged, spiked or choke collar from the dog within the double gated entry prior to entering the park.

  • Children twelve (12) years of age and younger are not permitted in the Boneyard unless accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Do not bring strollers, carriages, baby carriers, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, childrens toys, food, dog toys, dog treats or dog food into the park. (Tennis balls are okay.)

  • No other animals are allowed into the park.

  • No person shall conduct any activity which may be or create an immediate danger to the publics health, safety and welfare. Such activity must cease immediately when asked to do so by a City official.

  • Alcoholic beverages and smoking are not permitted in the park.

  • Do not enter or use the Boneyard when it is closed.

  • You are not allowed to operate or conduct a business within the park, unless permitted by the City.

How to Use The Double Gated Entry

Entering the dog park play area:
  1. Wait for the double gated area to be clear of people and dogs before entering.
  2. Keep all dog(s) on leash, open the first gate, enter the area, then close the first gate behind you.
  3. Remove leash(es) and choke collars from your dog(s).
  4. Open the gate into the Boneyard play area and let you dogs in to the dog park.
  5. Close and latch the interior gate behind you.
Have a great time!

Leaving the dog park play area:
  1. Wait for the double gated area to be clear of people and dogs before entering with your dogs.
  2. Open the interior gate and let your dog(s) into the area between the two gates.
  3. Close and latch the gate behind you and your dog(s).
  4. Attach your dog's leash(es) and any choke collars.
  5. Open the exterior gate and exit.
  6. Open the exterior gate and walk carefully with your dogs on leash while leaving the area.
IMPORTANT:
  • Only your own group of dogs are allowed with you between the double gates at any time.
  • Be sure to use the area appropriate to your dog's weight.
  • Never leave a leash on your dog within the Boneyard play areas.
  • If your dog must be muzzled, perhaps it shouldn_t be in the Boneyard.
